Materials: All included in the course price (a small fee may be charged for large pieces)

Join us for a 6-week pottery course where you'll explore throwing and hand-building techniques in a supportive and creative environment. Designed for up to 8 participants, the course offers a balanced mix of guided instruction and hands-on practice.

The first two weeks:

Throwing Techniques: Learn how use the wheel, from wheel-throwing, trimming, making handles and glazing.

Followed by:

Handbuilding Techniques: Explore a variety of methods including coiling, slab, and pinch pots. Learn to create unique forms and intricate surface decoration.

These classes are project-led, with ample time for hands-on practice and personalised guidance. We will provide tailored feedback and demonstrations to suit your skill level.

Whether you're new to pottery or have some experience, this course is perfect for those looking to expand their skills in a collaborative and inspiring setting. You'll meet fellow pottery enthusiasts, refine your techniques, and create beautiful, functional art.
