Want to make your gifts a little more personal this year?

Join us for a festive everything course where you'll explore the full pottery process, from throwing and hand-building to trimming and glazing, creating thoughtful, personalised gifts for friends and family in time for the festive season.

Bring your own ideas and inspiration. You could make anything from picture frames and tissue boxes to napkin holders, candlesticks, trinket dishes and Christmas decorations. We'll help you develop your ideas and bring them to life using clay.

Suitable for all levels, we'll cover the basics together, so whether you're completely new to pottery or have some experience, there's space for everyone's gift ideas.

Your booking helps keep the studio going

The Community Pottery is a not-for-profit community studio. Every penny from your booking goes straight back into the studio and the experience we create here. Your support helps us maintain our equipment, improve the space and create more opportunities for people to get involved with clay.

Our Studio

Our studio is a welcoming space in Brislington, Bristol, where people can come to make, learn and spend time together.

Housed at St Anne’s House, The Community Pottery is more than a place to work with clay. It’s a space to get creative, share ideas, meet other makers and feel part of a community.

Whether you’re completely new to pottery or have been making for years, there’s room here to explore, experiment and make things your own.
